it’s perfect, infact, adding people would probably ruin the effect. I had a friend who told me that when his mother prepared sandwitches for him to take to school, she always forgot to take the plastic off the cheese slice.

It took me awhile to realize that this was a life size sandwhich. Surreal.

Ah yes, the sweet, sweet Fantasuites. I shot there many years ago. It’s a short drive from my hometown.

I wish I knew then what I know now!
But the “love hotels” of Japan are better, thank you, Ms. Keasler. And I wasn’t quite ready to “bare it all,” thank you, Mr. Soth.

If I fly to Wisconsin, dress up as a pickle, and take a picture of myself jumping over the bed, do I win the contest?

What size girl eats that sandwich? And what size bed does she jump on?

Wow. I was just nagging a friend who wants to direct a short film about the importance of an interesting location. To him, a room is a room. I’m emailing this link right now.

How could you get any sleep when the giant who made it might come by in the night and eat you?

[...] Even though this post requires me to link to two blog posts from the same blog within a span of hours, I simply MUST give credit once again to Alec Soth, for digging up a picture of a sandwich BED. [...]

For full points, shouldn’t one try to find a Fantasuites with a grilled cheese, bacon, or bookmaker’s sandwich? I only mention this because my grant applications for funds to produce “a series of sandwich-style beds” and “sandwiches with mattresses and sheets for bread” seem to have all fallen through.

I hope nothing squirts out of the sides when you jump on it.
